In Marciana, experts from ISPRA – the Institute for Environmental Protection and Research – which is among the coordinators of LIFE Conceptu Maris (an acronym for ‘Conservation of Cetaceans and Pelagic Sea Turtles in the Med: Managing Actions for their Recovery in Sustainability’), might present a “new standard protocol for data collection and for producing predictive models capable of assessing the conservation status and risks” to which the various species in our seas are exposed.
